K-AmpDetect 1T and K-AmpDetect 2T
What is K-AmpDetect?
K-AmpDetect 1T is a universal lateral flow dipstick for the detection of genomic amplification labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and biotin.
K-AmpDetect 2T is a universal lateral flow dipstick for detection of genomic amplification labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), biotin, and digoxin.
The amplification products can be visualized easily by K-AmpDetect, which is more advantageous than the other detection methods because of its rapidity, low cost, ease of use, and long-term stability.
K-AmpDetect is composed of four parts: the sample pad, conjugate pad, nitrocellulose membrane, and the absorbent pad.
The sample pad is pretreated with buffer, providing a suitable pH and ion strength for detection.
The conjugate pad is sprayed with colloidal gold conjugated mouse anti-FITC.
The nitrocellulose membrane of K-AmpDetect T1 and T2 contains one test line and two test lines, respectively. For the single test line, streptavidin was sprayed on the nitrocellulose membrane to create the test line. For the two test lines, anti-digoxin (anti-DIG; Test line 1) and streptavidin (Test line 2) were sprayed on the nitrocellulose membrane. Anti-mouse antibody was sprayed on the membrane to form a control line.

K-AmpDetect 1T and K-AmpDetect 2T
How to interpret the results of K-AmpDetect?
- Positive result
The presence of two/three color band lines (C&T for K-AmpDetect 1T (left) or C & T1,T2 for K-AmpDetect 2T (right)) indicates a positive result.
- Negative result
The presence of one color band line (C) indicates a negative result.
- Invalid result
If the control line (C) fails to appear, the result is considered invalid.
